Latham Keele Lehman Ratcliff Carter & Clarke is proud to once again participate in the Workers' Compensation Institute (WCI) Conference, the nation's premier event for workers' compensation professionals.

This year, shareholders Leah Keele and Lori Whitworth will represent LKL at the conference and serve as featured speakers during WCDI programming on Wednesday, August 26.

Our firm is a member of the Workers' Compensation Defense Institute (WCDI)—an alliance of leading law firms representing employers and insurance carriers across the United States. Each year, WCDI presents educational programming at the WCI Conference, bringing together attorneys from multiple jurisdictions to discuss current issues and emerging trends in workers' compensation law.

Leah will participate in the conference's Opening Session, Meet the Crew, where attorneys representing 14 states introduce attendees to the latest legal developments in their home jurisdictions and provide an overview of the multi-state issues that will be explored throughout the conference.

Excursion #2 – Course #3504 📅 Wednesday, August 26 | 🕚 11:05 a.m.–12:05 p.m. | 📍 Grand Ballroom 7A

Leah will represent Oklahoma during this multi-state breakout session, joining attorneys from Alabama, Indiana, South Carolina, and Tennessee to discuss claims handling, jurisdiction-specific legal updates, and strategies for resolving claims. This session is a repeat of the earlier breakout, giving attendees the opportunity to participate in a different state panel.

Lori will represent Oklahoma during this multi-state breakout session alongside attorneys from Alabama, Indiana, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The panel will cover jurisdiction-specific legal developments, claims-handling considerations, and practical strategies for navigating claims across multiple states.

Lori will return for this repeat breakout session, providing attendees with another opportunity to hear updates and insights on claims handling across Alabama, Indiana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
